dutch maestro reimer eising returns with a new lesson in high class braindance electronica for analogical force. just one year on from the inspiring wingtip album on clone records and many (like us) have been looking forward to his new stuff, now the wait is over. alacasa , the result of months of work, sees reimer delving into his unique world of delicate drum patterns, kaleidoscopic synths, 4/4 beats and breaks, acid-tinged melodies, ghostly pads...blah blah blah... kettel has presented us with all of these things before but never with such immaculate care and attention to detail, production and pacing. he has never sounded better and fresher than this. the ep includes a dreamy and evocative remix from swedish hero rolando simmons, pure bliss to get lost in. no more words are needed, you know what to do.

artcub records is an new open-minded techno label created by marco gayo from france. the label will propose somes deep to raw techno in his futures releases. here the first work from the rising star of nederlands: qindek. darko esser was the man who pulled qindek and gave him a shot at his own wolfskuil-label to release music in vinyl. people like laurent garnier, rolando, norman nodge, ben sims, dvs1, pfirter, benny rodriguez (rod), sandrien and Âme incorporated qindek’s release in their sets.
trappist one ep is an attempt to create some of the emotions and state of minds while being on the ship towards our next destination within this multiverse. intergalactic light ensemble is traveling at lightspeed towards adventure, and midst of travel we discover something unexplained. waves and waves is the contemplation of that moment. alarma is a code red, losing our minds as we encounter a energyforce which has far greater powers than we ever imagined. how do we face such powers? eon gives answer to such quations, as we progress into our creative awareness, and gaining new insights on how to manipulate energy.

both roberto and his own fossil archive label continue to go from strength to strength. roberto has consistently delivered at dj bookings that have seen him return time and again to the likes of tresor and fabric, while the label has fast become a favourite in dj boxes and amongst techno heads. the label closed 2016 on a high with its first set of remixes from two techno legends, sterac and rolando. and now for the first release of 2017 roberto is thrilled to draft in the refined skills of fachwerk’s roman lindau. roberto has of course released on fachwerk in the past and been featured on the bill on more than one occasion when the berlin label have taken over berghain, so roman is a fitting and very welcome addition to his uk imprint. teaming up for ‘nerinea trinodosa’ on the a-side, roman and roberto’s production styles complement one another perfectly on this solid peak-time offering, bringing a depth and power that continues the fossil archive dedication to raw and unfaltering beats. roberto then goes it alone for ‘triage’ on the b-side, a track which was already featured on alan fitzpatrick’s recent fabric mix cd. with its tough tribal sound and deep bass, there’s some serious funk in the groove, completing another essential release from the fossil archive camp.

second chapter in the af voiceless series. the label run by pervert keeps on broadening its own catalogue by adding artists committed to the underground electronic cause. this ep is a 5-track new voyage through analogue-crafted soundscapes, acid-injected breaks, thudding bass lines, warm and intricate melodies...the sheerest voice for the voiceless. af005y introduces new members to the family as houston-based daed (ian lambert), who displays his ability to create a perfect acid-glitched called pulse lunar . thus, smiley moon is above all a glimpse into the analogue world of the well-known rolando simmons, proving himself he s one of the brightest electronic artists of the moment. sheffield based dave forrester (techdiff) twists the modular in jamuary with a killer aphexian/jenkinson temper. longing raving days are depicted in quest with an evocative electro halo by the hand of the irish producer cignol. last but not least, smoke , an acid junglist and braindance orgy signed by gareth clarke, known for his previous works on canada s sublight records (venetian snares, bill laswell) and lovelove records. limited and handnumbered as usual.

sdx is the producer alias of our resident dj beni, who delivered finest detroit techno for our catalogue number 008. catalogue number 009 comes with special remixes by legend rolando, known from labels like ostgut ton, underground resistance or deslin & max durante, known from sonig groove & diffuse reality. the original track the day she asks for forgiveness is a slowly building percussive 808 banger, built around a short vocal sample. rolando comes with a special minimalistic dj tool track. we are sure this remix will find place in lots of dj sets. max durante comes with a straight forward techno remix in his best own style. the third and last track of the record is a special bonus breakbeat track made by sdx himself. clitchy sounds and a special mood will bring you directly into another dimension. be prepared

for its premier release, division point industries is proud to announce a 4-track ep by rolling ones, a collaborative project featuring johannes auvinen (tin man) and jordan poling (jordan). rolling ones finds its voice in the synthesis of each artist s sound, combining tin man s acidic melodies with jordan s deep, textural pads. debuting at the division point industries residency at bushwick s notorious bossa nova civic club, rolling ones marked their arrival by playing a dj back-to-back set. opening the record is 93 mustang , a muscular, no-nonsense roller built around deep wells of warm bass and slick-piston percussion. as it builds, tin man s signature acidic squelch dances in the remaining space, giving the track a sense of both life and depth. next is faded delorian , an abyssal burner that refracts its ghostly tones around a panning labyrinth of crystalline synths. on the flip is slammed cadillac , a sinewy, stripped down stomper of clattering percussion and caustic 303s. jacked up impala finishes the record as a jacking acid tool. founded by jordan poling, division point industries is a new label built on the success of a collaborative residency with cory james at brooklyn s bossa nova civic club. having hosted artists ranging from the established to the underground, division point industries has crafted a no-nonsense take on deep house and techno that is rich in history while remaining focused on the future.

spencer parker returns to radio slaves rekids imprint for two stripped back cuts in the second instalment of ‘no more silly club songs this february. the work them records founder and rekids regular dropped the first four track package last summer, which was a series of tools produced with parkers own dj sets in mind. vol.2 initiates with robust kicks and shuffling hats in silly club song no.5 whilst charismatic chords operate amongst drum rolls and a vocal crying out dance. on the other hand, no.6 follows a similar muscular aesthetic yet incorporates a reese inspired bassline as percussive elements rattle throughout. supported by radio slave, rodhad, dj rolando, marcel dettman, ben sims, mr.g amongst others.
